Tottenham are reported to be at an advanced stage with European champions Inter Milan in negotiating a deal to bring Sulley Muntari to White Harte Lane.
The £4m rated midfielder has fell down the perking order at the San Siro and is set to re-unite with boss Harry Redknapp who brought was first to bring the Ghana international to England while at Portsmouth.
Muntari, 26, joined Inter in the summer of 2007 in a deal worth £12.7m after spending just one season with Pompey - during which time he helped the now championship side to victory in the FA Cup.
One other motivated factor for the Ghanaian is the chance to play Champions League football as coincidentally, Spurs are drawn in the same group as Inter and will do well to seal the deal before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
