Wigan have accepted a bid to sell Frenchman Charles Nzogbia to Birmingham.
The winger has been agitating for a move away from the DW since the commencement of the new season and it seems he has finally got his wish.
Birmingham emerged the preferred destination for the 24 year old fending off competition including French champions Marseille and Sunderland.
Wigan has reluctantly accepted Birmingham's bid and given the player permission to hold talks with the Blues over personal terms.
A Wigan statement read: “Wigan Athletic can confirm that they have accepted a much improved offer from Birmingham City for France winger Charles N’Zogbia, which has now met the club’s valuation.”
Birmingham are reported to have upped their initial bid of £9m to £11m to secure the signing of the much sought after player.
